What is EMS?

EMS is a guided strength session where you wear a specialised dry suit that gently activates your muscles while you perform simple movements with a coach.

You’re not doing complicated exercises or a workout class. The movements are slow and supported, the suit simply helps your muscles engage more effectively than they usually would.

No.

The sensation feels unusual at first – a gentle pulsing or buzzing – but it shouldn’t be painful. The intensity is adjusted throughout the session and you are always in control.

Most people relax within a few minutes and by the end are chatting quite happily.

Not at all.

Sessions are private and calm.
Nothing is on display and you won’t be exercising in front of other people.

Almost everyone arrives slightly unsure and leaves wondering why they worried!

Yes.

Sessions are fully supervised and the intensity is carefully controlled the entire time. We also screen for any medical considerations during your initial consultation.

Your comfort and safety is always our priority.

Yes, this is actually one of the main reasons people come.

Strength training becomes especially important at this stage of life for muscle, bone health, posture, metabolism and energy. EMS allows you to do this in a controlled, joint friendly way without long gym sessions or heavy weights.

We adjust sessions week to week depending on how you’re feeling.

Definitely not!

Many people come because they don’t feel fit right now or normal exercise has started to feel harder. Everything is adapted to you and we start gently.

You won’t be expected to keep up with anyone or push through discomfort.

Often yes.

Because the movements are low impact and controlled, many people who struggle with knees, hips, backs or shoulders find this much more manageable than normal exercise.

We talk everything through at the consultation first so we can decide if it’s appropriate for you.

The training itself lasts about 20 minutes.

That’s enough time for a full strength session because the muscles are being stimulated in a very targeted way. Most people are in and out within half an hour.

Most people do 1 – 2 sessions a week.

You don’t need daily workouts for this to work, consistency matters much more than frequency.

You may feel mild muscle soreness the next day, similar to starting a new exercise, but it shouldn’t be extreme. We begin gently and increase gradually.

Many people actually notice posture and energy improving quite quickly.

Just some water and yourself.
Everything else is provided.

A lot of people end up buying their own suits so that they can arrive ready to go and be done in 20 minutes!

No long contracts, cancel at any time with 7 days notice.

Memberships are simple and flexible. After your first session you can take time to decide what feels right for you.

Yes.

After the consultation you can book a half price introductory session so you can have a go before properly before deciding.

Everyone is different, but many people notice posture, muscle engagement and general energy improving within a few weeks. Visible body changes follow with consistency.

We focus on helping you feel stronger and more comfortable in your body rather than chasing quick fixes.
